The Positive Living Support Group was founded over ten years ago by a group of citizens who were concerned about people in the area living with HIV and AIDS. The local office of Catholic Charities began the group and the AIDS Services Coalition has assisted with the facilitation of the group for the last seven years. The group has two monthly meetings - held the second and fourth Tuesdays, both with snacks or meal. Please, no children. The Group focuses on LIVING with HIV/AIDS. Each month, one meeting is reserved for open discussion. The other meeting may be an outing to a movie or other social event or there may be a speaker on a topic the group has expressed interest in hearing more about. |
